We're still not sure what to do when a tank lies on it's back.
At the moment, it will be trapped like a turtle. With the current settings for the "wheels", it might be possible to flip over, but that's not guaranteed.
One thing that could also happen is being buried under loose land chunks. That would of couse make a flip impossible.
Should we add a special action to flip? How could we "explain" or visualise that mechanic? Or could we leave it as it is and take it as a game mechanic (and maybe a tactical component)?
I like the idea of flipping
I like the idea of flipping as tactical component, but it sucks if it happens to you without enemy interaction and without doing some risky maneuver and at the moment it happens quiete too often. I mean at midgame all tanks will be trapped and no one can do anything sensefull anymore this really will suck.
I think that if tank fall to
I think that if tank fall to its roof... then basically it became easy target and can't move. So players will think how to keep own tank at tracks, and turn over enemy.
